Разумеется, такое удается далеко не всем. Именно поэтому сознательных вампиров, в сущности, очень мало, а основная масса претерпевших трансформацию стремительно теряет человеческий облик, утрачивает контроль над собой и поддается всепоглощающей страсти к крови, которая быстро заменяет все другие привязанности, в точности как тяжелые наркотики. И, как в случае с тяжелыми наркотиками, надежды для таких больных практически нет.

Второй – попытки пробудить сознательность и совесть у тех из вампиров, кому достанет силы духа сопротивляться происходящим в них переменам. История Николы Теслы, как нам представляется, может и должна служить вдохновляющим примером для всех нас – и для всех молодых вампиров. Особенно если учесть, что наука не стоит на месте – во многом благодаря усилиям таких подвижников, как Тесла, – и поэтому вампиры наших дней вправе рассчитывать не только на помощь и поддержку как своих близких, так и членов Клуба, но и на квалифицированную помощь ученых-специалистов.
