Идея, выражаемая им в его притчах, подкрепляется именно таким образом. Спасительные действия Бога уже реализуются. Его Царство — ответ Бога на человеческое страдание. Самые несчастные могут почувствовать на себе знаки нового мира, в котором, наконец, Бог победит зло. Как-то раз Иисус выразил это вполне эмоционально: «Я видел сатану, спадшего с неба, как молнию» [398] . Это и есть Царство Божье, Которого он так жаждет: поражение зла, распространение милосердия Божьего, упразднение страдания, принятие отверженных и совместная с ними жизнь, установление общества, свободного от всякой скорби.
